Travel back in time to the year 129 AD in this temporary exhibition building in Pergamon. See the ancient city of Pergamon on the west coast of Asia Minor. Discover completely new and reworked reconstructions of the city as it was in the times of the High Roman Empire under the reign of Emperor Hadrian (117-138 AD). This 360-degree panorama by the famous Iranian architect Yadegar Asisi contains 40 new scenes that he has woven into the picture. Continue and approach 80 of the most important works of the Pergamon Collection of Antiquities, including the largest piece of the Telephos frieze from the Pergamon Altar. Only for a fixed period of time can you experience the Pergamon Altar in its original architectural context on the Acropolis. All the remarkable sculptures of the city can be seen, including the beautiful head, the huge head of Heracles, portrait sculptures of the king, the archaic dancer from the palace, the Prometheus group and Athena with a crossed shield.
